Abstract


The author and examined the caries status on 62 female dental patients of age 20's and performed the modified Snyder tests by use of Cariostat, in order to compare the correlation between the present caries status and the results of Cariostat
test.
The data from each patients were calculated to obtain the correlation coefficiency between two factors.
@ES The obtained results were as followings.
@EN 1. There were no evidence of correlation between the present caries or filled status and the results of caries activity tests by use of Cariostat in dental patients of age 20's with ordinary oral status.
2. It was recommended that modified Snyder tests by use of Cariostat would be effective to for children with rampant caries of dental patients with dental appliance to estimate the caries activity in clinical.
